VCT STATEMENT: Political Homelessness and Contemporary Citizenship

In a panel discussion at the Atrium of Hotel Almanac Vienna on September 6, 2023, and the exhibition "Not Either Or, But And" at the prestigious venue "das weisse haus," curated by Laura Amann of Kunsthalle Wien, high-profile individuals from arts, politics, and culture explored the role of culture and art in strengthening the sense of belonging in European communities.


Together with the team from ZOOM, children create their own music machine and experience art in a playful way. Saturday, 9 September, 2:00 - 3:30 pm Venue: Kursalon Pavilion


In collaboration with Meta and the Museum of Applied Arts (MAK), viennacontemporary explores the connection between art and the digital sphere, experimentally developing the human side of the latest technologies, especially virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality.

VCT Sculpture Project

VCT Sculpture Project has invited galleries participating in the fair to submit proposals by artists they represent to a jury. The winner's sculpture was unveiled in front of Kursalon Vienna on 7 September 2023.


The Talks-program of viennacontemporary, deals with various aspects of engagement, both in the context of the "private" and the "public". Prominent speakers share valuable insights into the realities of the art market. The Sessions will take place on the upper floor of our partner institution das weisse haus, Hegelgasse 14, 1010 Vienna.
