From 8 to 11 September 2022, Vienna’s leading art fair viennacontemporary gathered 62 galleries from 17 countries, who presented exciting newcomers, established galleries, and carefully curated special exhibitions with a focus on Central- and Eastern Europe, on the extraordinary premises of the neo-renaissance palace Kursalon Vienna.

In this year’s content focus and multi-part commentary STATEMENT UKRAINE, viennacontemporary reacted to the unfoldings in Ukraine and Europe and pointed out the importance of art and culture in times of crisis.

A diverse accompanying program, including ZONE1, Guided Tours, Concerts, and Film Screenings, collaborations with the many surrounding great galleries, and renowned cultural institutions, as well as a substantive Talks format, rounded off the exciting art offer in the heart of the city.
