In this talk, Marcella Beccaria, curator of STATEMENT: Realities Building, and the artists of the exhibition reflect on how time-based media can suggest new forms of presence, resistance, and engagement. Rather than addressing political themes directly, the works respond to the pressures of disinformation, surveillance, and systemic exploitation. Art becomes a way to reimagine what is possible within an increasingly manipulated and controlled environment.
